Aline Isaacs, age 96, of Fairfield, IL. passed away at 7 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, IL.



She was born September 5, 1913 in West Frankfort, IL to Thomas and Elizabeth Robinson Pinkston.



She was a cook, retired from Lincoln Street Hospital in Lincoln, IL. Aline is survived by her two granddaughters: Dianna Isaacs of Mill Shoals, IL, Pamela Thomas of Herrin, IL; several great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her first husband: Thomas Roberts; second husband: Hershel Isaacs; daughter: Gloria McPheron; son: Thomas Roberts; brother and sister.



A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Denning Cemetery, West Frankfort, IL. with Rev. Bill Clark officiating. There will be no visitation and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

My thoughts and Prayers to Alines family. I just meet her in person in November. I learned alot about the unknown part of my family-The Pinkstons. My Grandmother Ina was Alines sister. I would love to learn more about my family history and if any one has family photos I would love to see them. My Mom, Aunt Aline and I were going to go through them on my next visit. I feel lucky to have spent the afternoon with her in November. I would have cherished the opportunity to spend more time with her. WHat a fine Great Aunt! Lynne
