Arthur Trexler, 70, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at his home.
He was born July 14, 1939, in Vienna, to Roy and Willie Mae Sullivan Trexler.
He was a member of Harvest Field Church in West Frankfort.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Trexler of West Frankfort; daughter, April Trexler of West Frankfort; brother, Clifford and Carol Trexler of Goreville; and grandson, Kevin Shuman of West Frankfort.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clifford Trexler; brothers, David and Melvin Trexler; and sisters, Irma Jones and Beatrice Jolly.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with Pastors Wayne and Barbara Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery in West Frankfort. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
