Landyn Wayne Spears, 4 months, passed away at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, in Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in St. Louis.



He was born Sept. 19, 2009, in Marion to Jason Spears and Ariana Dehoet.



Surviving relatives include his parents, Jason Spears and Ariana Dehoet of Murphysboro; sister, Kylie Spears of Murphysboro; maternal grandparents, Robert and Charlene Dehoet of Murphysboro; paternal grandparents, David and Rose Spears of Benton; and several aunts and uncles.



Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, in Denning Cemetery, with Pastor Jason Todd officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Charlene, I am so sorry to hear about your little one. I wasn't aware that the baby was ill. I pray that God will give you and all your family the strength to get through this. In time the pain will ease, but getting their is the hard part. God bless you and you will all be in my prayers.
