Dorothy Marie Hoppers, 90, died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in Frankfort Care Center in West Frankfort.

She was born March 26, 1919, in West Frankfort, to Leslie and Stella (Rumsey) Hall.

She was a member of Orient Christian Church and Royal Neighbors and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include four sons, James and Margaret Hoppers of West Frankfort, Donald and Lucille Hoppers of Orient, David and Daisy Hoppers of West Frankfort and Gary and Anne Hoppers of West Frankfort; three daughters, Barbara Murray of West Frankfort, Edna and Robert Mocaby of Pittsburg and Kim and Steve Snyder of West Frankfort; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lester Hoppers on June 6, 1983; parents; a brother, Earl Hall; grandsons, Billy Odam and Mark Mocaby; and a son-in-law, Eddie Murray.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with Pastors Wayne and Barbara Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery in West Frankfort. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at the funeral home.
